Significant releases from Bartlett Dam and Stewart Mountain Dam, exacerbated by recent and ongoing storm activity, will combine above Granite Reef Diversion Dam and move through the Phoenix Metro Area toward the Gila River. Flows are likely to exceed 60,000 CFS and may increase further. Protect yourself and others during these releases by avoiding river channels, banks, low-level crossings, and recreation areas along the Verde and Salt Rivers. Several roads located in the East and West Valley will be closed. Updated road information can be found at ADOT AZ 511.

Glossary
Elevation: "Remaining" refers to how many feet the water is below the maximum conservation storage level.
Runoff: Refers to water produced from the watershed from rain and snowmelt.
Reservoir release: Refers to the amount of water being released from the reservoirs.
Diversions: Canals to which the water is diverted at Granite Reef Diversion Dam once it is released from the reservoirs to satisfy water demand in the Valley.
